Setup PVR on Kodi –
PVR – Personal Video Recorder enables users to watch live TV and to listen to radio over the internet from any of their streaming devices or streaming app.
The PVR IPTV client allows Kodi users to upload their M3U list on the device on which they run the Kodi like Fire tv stick, windows, Mac and Android.
Through this client, Kodi users could watch live tv through Internet Protocol Television ( IPTV ) from all over the world.

Installing PVR Client on Kodi –
The installation process of PVR IPTV client on Kodi is very easy you simply need to follow these instructions –
- Open The Kodi App and get the Home page of the app
- Click on the Add-ons left side menu bar on the home page
- Select My Add-ons from the next page
- Now select PVR clients option
- Next, select the PVR IPTV Simple Client
- On the next page find the enable option and click it to enable and Then click on Configure.
- In the next window you get, you will have to add your M3U List
- After finishing the process you can watch live tv on Kodi by going to TV option on the home screen of the Kodi.
Recording Streaming on Kodi –
You have Installed PVR DVR on your Kodi. Now go to the settings and select PVR & Live TV Settings.
When you play live videos you will find Record Button to record the show. The recording will depend on the settings you have made through various options from the settings.
You can also set a recording option for your favorite shows. To do this, just go to the TV Guide and select shows which you want to record and click on Record.
Add Timer –
- Go to the main TV window
- Now go to the Timer Rules
- Now you will find Add Timer Option
By this, you can set Kodi to record episodes you set to be. Information about the show timing will be available o Kodi, you can schedule recording according to show timing.
You will set various recording options like Recording time, a lifetime for recorded videos, Instance recording duration, etc, from the Recording Menu from the settings.
With Instance Recording action recording settings menu, you will find the option to allow Recording option while playing any show or video. You also can schedule your recordings.
