Certain Android applications are meant for touch devices and do not function properly on your remote-controlled Fire TV Stick device. This takes away some good apps from FireStick users. The main reason you are unable to use such applications is that they are not compatible with your remote Amazon FireStick.
However, if you could use a mouse with FireStick, you might be able to make some of these apps work. Without connecting a physical mouse to it, you could get mouse pointer on your FireStick interface. The Mouse Toggle app is all you need. We’ll learn how to install the Mouse Toggle on FireStick in this tutorial.
Use the navigation buttons on your remote to manoeuvre the mouse pointer. To click an object, simply hover the pointer over it and press the Select button on the Fire TV Stick remote.

Your FireStick to install any third-party application. Let’s begin with Mouse Toggle.
Step 6: A side-loader app is a very first thing you need. FireStick does not allow files to be downloaded directly to the browser. I recommend Downloader app. For FireStick, it’s a very effective side-loading tool. Install and launch Downloader on FireStick. This app can be easily accessed from the Amazon Store.
Step 7: Downloader’s main screen looks like this. As you can see, you have already clicked the Home option on the left. There is a field on the right where you can enter the source URL from where Mouse Toggle will be downloaded. Click on this URL field.
Step 8: Enter the following URL (like with your device)
https://www.firesticktricks.com/mouse (For Fire Stick Gen 1, Fire Stick Gen 2, Fire TV 1, Fire TV 2, Fire TV Cube)
http://bit.ly/mousefire ( For FireStick 4K, Fire TV 3 or Fire TV)
Hit GO after entering the URL.
Step 9: Allow downloading of the Mouse Toggle APK file from the Downloader app. It might take a few minutes.
Step 10: The great thing about Downloader is you don’t need to execute the downloaded APK manually. It runs the file and automatically launches the installation. Now you should see the prompt below. Click Install.
Step 11: Now wait for the installation of the Mouse Toggle APK to complete.
Step 12: The installation confirmation will be displayed with the Installed App prompt. When you click Open, the Mouse Toggle app will be launched immediately. But, we will run and use the app later.
First, click Done and then go back to the Downloader app. I’m going to show you how to delete Mouse Toggle APK you just downloaded. After installation, APK files are not necessary. Let’s get some room free.
Step 13: Click Delete.
Step 14: Click Delete once more.
You have deleted FireStick’s APK file successfully.
